Organized formally in 1996, the Parañaque District III Community Rondalla is composed of high school students of Barangay Baclaran. The group has, since then, performed in many different social gatherings in Parañaque. They also find time to play sacred music in church services. They consistenly won first prizes in all the competitions they particpated, including two national contests sponsored by the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports, the Paligsahan sa Sining ’96 and the NAMCYA 1996 Rondalla Contest.

The group was formed through the support of Parañaque’s municipal officials, District III’s school officials, and Baclaran’s barangay officials.
